CONSULTATION DETAILS

Private Consultation Fee

Private Wallcovering Design Consultations are billed at $275 per hour.

The initial consultation is scheduled for one hour. Additional consultation time may be booked as needed and is billed in 30-minute increments at the equivalent hourly rate.

The consultation takes place before your wallcovering purchase, allowing you to receive personalized guidance and determine the right direction before committing to a final product order.

Payment

The consultation fee must be paid in full in advance at the time of booking.

Your appointment is not considered confirmed or reserved until payment has been successfully received.

The consultation fee compensates Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings for reserved professional time, preparation, creative expertise, and personalized design guidance.

The consultation is a separate professional service and is not included in the price of any wallcovering or custom product subsequently purchased.

Consultation Fees are Non-Refundable

Consultation fees are final and non-refundable once paid, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

The consultation fee remains payable whether or not the client ultimately chooses to purchase a wallcovering following the consultation.

Clients wishing to reschedule should provide at least 24 hours’ notice. One rescheduling may be permitted without an additional fee, subject to availability.

Late cancellations, missed appointments, and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Creative Direction & Purchasing

Private Wallcovering Design Consultations are intended to help clients select, customize, or develop wallcoverings available through Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings.

Sarah may discuss color, pattern, scale, material, texture, finish, atmosphere, and potential custom design directions during your consultation.

These recommendations are provided as part of the Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings design and purchasing experience.

The standard consultation does not include a transferable design plan, sourcing package, production-ready specification, or creative brief intended to be taken to another retailer, designer, manufacturer, printer, or supplier.

If a concept or custom direction is developed during your consultation and you would like to move forward with it, Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings will provide pricing and next steps for the appropriate wallcovering, customization, or bespoke design service.

Proprietary Designs & Sourcing

Payment of a consultation fee does not transfer ownership of Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings’ original designs, custom concepts, artwork, renderings, custom colorways, pattern modifications, production files, or other proprietary creative materials.

Likewise, Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings’ non-public supplier, manufacturer, production, wholesale, and trade-source information remains confidential.

The consultation fee does not include disclosure of:

Manufacturing partners
Printing sources
Wholesale suppliers
Trade vendors
Vendor contacts
Negotiated pricing
Manufacturing costs
Production methods
Proprietary specifications
Non-public material sources

Clients may not provide Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings’ proprietary artwork, custom concepts, renderings, specifications, or confidential sourcing information to another manufacturer, printer, designer, supplier, or vendor for reproduction or further development without prior written authorization.

This does not prevent clients from independently purchasing unrelated products that are publicly available elsewhere.

Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings also offers a complimentary 15-minute discovery call for prospective clients.

This brief introductory conversation allows us to learn about your project, understand what you are looking for, and determine whether a Private Wallcovering Design Consultation is the right service for you.

The complimentary discovery call is not a design consultation.

Detailed product recommendations, personalized color direction, custom concepts, room-specific design advice, material specifications, and other individualized creative recommendations are reserved for the paid consultation.

What Happens After Your Consultation

Following your consultation, Queen of Hearts Wallcoverings can prepare the appropriate product or custom-design direction based on the selections established during your appointment.

A specialized substrate

Final product pricing will be provided separately.

No wallcovering is placed into production simply because a consultation has taken place.

A separate product order and the applicable product payment are required before manufacturing begins.

Consultations do not constitute architectural, engineering, structural, construction, permitting, building-code, accessibility, medical, therapeutic, or clinical services.

Clients remain responsible for obtaining accurate field measurements and confirming quantities, installation requirements, site conditions, and technical suitability with a qualified wallcovering installer or other appropriate professional before ordering.
